Entrecote & Broccoli

Here's one of my favorite dishes-made yesterday for dinner --  Prepared an Entrecote with Broccoli as the side. Easy to do and with excellent taste. I cooked it medium well using just salt & peppar to get as much taste out of the meat as psossible .  The cooking was made using eco-butter on the frying pan.  I also mad a sauce using the famous Tiger Sauce mixed with garlic and creme fraiche.

Beef Wellington

Saturday and a perfect time to try out to cook a Beef Wellington from Jamie Oliver's Ministry of Food Book. It's the first time I'm doin' this dish and as I've done the meatloaf several times this one seems like an easy and challange.

I have as an aspiration that started on my paternity leave in the fall of '09 to cook all the recipes. I've come pretty far and am documenting, and redoing my favorites. I will post more on this later, but here's a few snapshots of the Wellington--that turned out amazing:

My Favorite Olive Oil!

An incredible olive oil worth looking for and my personal favorite: Barbera Selezione Speciale Bottiglia Storica, 500 ml - from Sicily, Italy! It can be quite hard to find it in Sweden, but I just found the importer who also sells it online @ http://smakfullt.e-butiken.se/?cat_id=41

For official info on the producers check it out at: http://www.oliobarbera.it/
